COLOMBIA DESIGN: Part 2 LIVING ROOM DESIGN

I am very happy to share with you Part 2 of my Colombian Renovation and Design project I have been working on with my parents. This design project has been an in-person design, completed for my parents last year when my son and I traveled to Colombia. My parents and I have been working on doing renovations to the house. My parents wanted something neutral, classic, and bright color for the walls so we chose to go with timeless white. The doors and window frames were painted with green. My parents already owned the sectional sofa and the ottoman but we wanted to refresh them. The furniture was reupholstered by @jhonfabermu his job is beautiful and impeccable, the furniture was light grey and he gave it this dark grey color that we absolutely love. The ottoman was light grey too, and he gave it this beautiful white and black patter with two matching throw pillows. This change in the ottoman with the matching throw pillows gave the furniture a new look, more fun and interesting. The grey, mustard throw pillows and the wall sconce are from @homecenter_co.

I made the draperies and we bought the fabric at @moda_almacensi. The fabric pattern are leaves of trees in grey, mustard and green. The fabric is jacquard. I distributed the gray and mustard color in the room using the draperies.

The two artwork are from @arteecodecoraciones, these are impressions on recovered triplex pine wood. With these artwork I distributed again the grey and mustard color in the room. The beautiful credenza we chose is from @onlymuebles, we love that this credenza has good storage where we placed some of my mother’s beautiful dinnerware. Finally I added some greenery in this living room. I love using greenery in my designs. Greenery complement the design beautifully, the space feel fresh and vibrant. My parents were very happy with this design. I want to thank @fotosarasti for the professional after pictures.
