Spreading Christmas Cheer!

One of my favorite things outside of decorating and e-designing for clients is decorating my own living space! Especially decorating in accordance with the seasons and holidays! In my previous blog post, How to Transition Your Home Decor from Halloween to Thanksgiving. I shared some decorating tips and tricks to make the transition from fall to Halloween, to Thanksgiving seamless! But now that we’ve recovered from our food comas and the rush of holiday shopping is here, it’s time to decorate for the December holidays! (If you haven’t started already!)

HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS

When it comes to decorating for the December holidays –there is no shame in admitting it– we all do it. Especially once Hallmark channel’s “Countdown to Christmas” starts… #GAMEOVER

It’s like our Christmas biological clocks arose such a clatter and the next thing we know, the stocking are hung, while visions of sugar plums dance in our heads. We all aim high to create our own version of Pinterest-worthy decor, that will awe our friends, guests, and let’s be honest even our IG followers.

When it comes to decorating your home for any season, you want to make sure you don’t lose sight of the key design element, home. Your home’s existing decor is what makes your home, a home. Enhance everyday spots with cheery decorations! From console tables, end tables, coffee tables, kitchen islands, fireplace mantles, windowsills, beams, and railings, the possibilities are endless! To sum it all up, you CAN have it all! You can maintain your home’s existing decor, and still spread holiday cheer!
