Blog POST: Building our new home

Hello, I hope everyone is having a wonderful day. Today I want to thank you to be here in my blog. This time I am sharing with you that my husband and I are building our new home. We have been working in our home long time ago. My husband knows how to build houses and I am his helper. The decorating part will be done by me. Our small family is: Husband, wife (me), our son Manny (The Rascal) who is 8, our dog Titan who was adopted from the shelter in July last year. Titan is 5 years old, he follows me everywhere, that is why you can see Titan in a lot of pictures and videos. Titan follows me even when we are building our home and stay there with husband and I.

The picture above is the front of our home, it is looking beautiful but all the inside is not done, we still have a lot to do. Our property is 9 acres, and the home is 3000 square feet. The first floor of the house will have living room with fireplace, dining room and kitchen in an open concept. The laundry room and pantry, the master bedroom with bathroom, a closet, guess room, another bathroom, Manny’s bedroom, man cave office for husband, garage and Titan’s room will go under the stairs. The porch and deck with pool. In the second floor we have Manny’s studio, my office, and a small attic. We have been buying the supplies from @menardshomeimprovement and @loweshomeimprovement

More Pictures of our property!

In the second and third pictures you can see in the left side is our new home we are building, the house in the rigth side is where we live rigth now. Is like a garage and in the second floor we have three bedrooms, one bathroom, and living room, dining room and kitchen in an open concept, it is a small place, my husband built first.

In the picture number six you can see the corn that was planted this year, it is one year corn and another year soy beans. The perimeters of our property has approximately three hundred pine trees. In picture number seven we have a small vegetable garden we planted this year: onions, peppers, sweet corn, cucumbers, lettuce, and tomatoes. And the last picture is my small garden flowers: pink and red roses, another beautiful flower that is in the middle of the roses but I don’t know the name. In the other side close to my garden we have two apple trees, one is red and the other is green apples. we have five blue plum trees, they are very sweet when they are ready to eat.

This is all for now. I will be doing more blogs to show you the progress while we finish the construction. Stay tune!

Or you can follow me on social media to know more about this and another projects! Thank you very much for your interest and support.

With love,

Gina.
