Rugs We Love! And a few rug tips....

I put together this post so you could check out a few of my favorite rugs! 12 actually….

These are rugs I love and have used on various projects over the last couple of years. They are all from Boutique rugs which is my favorite place to find affordable and good-quality rugs for my clients.

Rug Tip:

Do not forget to get a rug pad! Rug pads will not only keep your rug in place and provide extra padding but they also save the life of the rug, making it last longer.

If you have wood flooring, do not use a rug pad with plastic in the list of materials. These can ruin your wood flooring and even pull the finish off the top.

If you have hardwood flooring, you’re going to want to choose a wool rug pad.

Thickness of your rug pad is really up to you and your preference. If you want a little more cushion then go with something thicker but usually the thinnest option is just fine, especially for a more formal room where people will not be sitting on the floor.

If you can’t find a rug pad that is the same size as your rug, don’t stress. These pads can easily be cut down with a sharp pair of scissors. Just buy one size up and cut it down to the size you need.
